I have many passions in my life; family, friends, faith and of course veterinary medicine. I have wanted to be a vet since I was four years old. As a child my love for animals was strengthened by my many family pets from dogs, cats, horses to guinea pigs. As I grew older my interest in animal science and biology was furthered at Baker University where I receive a BS in Biology in 2004. I married my high school sweetheart in 2006, the same year I was accepted to vet school. Finally, my life long dream was realized once I completed my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University in 2010. I have been a small animal/exotic veterinarian ever since, practicing in Shawnee Mission Kansas from 2010-2016. During that time my family grew with the addition of three beautiful children. Now, I am the proud co-owner of All Creatures Small Animal Hospital here in Overland Park Kansas. Getting to come to work everyday to do a job I truly love, and working along side some of the most caring, compassionate people is more than I ever could have dreamed of!

Helping animals and the people that love them is my calling. Growing up in Kansas, I have been around animals all my life. I graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Since then, I have spent the last 7 years in private practice, focusing on general medicine, surgery, and internal medicine of dogs and cats. I especially love the study of ophthalmology (eyes) and soft tissue surgery. However, my favorite aspect of veterinary medicine is the human-animal bond. I love taking care of pets to the direct benefit of the people that love them the most. It is the most satisfying part of my day.
My family is my other passion. I have a wonderful husband and three rambunctious and loving children. My family is made complete with our Australian Shepherd Red and orange tabby cat Sammy.
I cannot wait to meet and chat with everyone that comes into All Creatures Small Animal Hospital, and to continue to provide them with the highest quality of veterinary medicine. I am so proud to be co-owner of this wonderful practice!
